About This Item

Florence: Privately printed for the author, 1929 First edition, limited to 550, copy no. 147, signed and numbered by the author. Printed by Tipografica Classica for the author, in Florence. HB. Paper covered boards, block printed in blue and gold decorative squares pattern. 217pp. The author's thoughts and views (very forthright opinions!) on the civilisations of Europe and India prompted by reading 'Mother India' on a long train journey. Fair only condition overall: covers are poor, but contents good. Front and back covers sound, though browned, but spine strip mostly missing and frayed; corners abraded. Pages clean, though edges and margins very browned, tear to one page.
