New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1982. First edition. First Printing. Hardcover. Near fine/near fine. 107pp. 7.25" x 9.25". Quarter bound paper and cloth over boards, gilt on spine. Author's initials stamped on front boards. Book is a stated First Edition with no additional printigs stated. Book is straight, clean and unmarked. Book edges slightly tanned with slight foxing to upper edge of text block. Dust jacket is in a Brodart protector and shows a couple of small tears to edges with tanning to the white areas. Book is signed and inscribed on the frint free endpaper: "For Joan and Alden / with much love / from / Jill Krementz / Oct 15th 1982 / 228 East 48th St. / NYC 10017" Book contains 19 interviews/photos of children who have been adopted and how they feel about that. Her husband Kurt Vonnegut took her jacket photo.
