First edition; 4to - 8" x 10 1/2"; pp. [8], 9-127, [1]; original blue boards; elaborate gilt decorations to front cover; some wear to head and tail of spine; small hole to margin of last free page; illustrated with full-page b & w photographs and facsimile of signatures of the movie stars; previous owner signature and "Hollywood Arts Studio" stamp to front cover verso; very good. A delightful compilation of short autobiographies of 60 of the biggest stars of the Silent Film era, including Charlie Chaplin, Gary Cooper, Greta Garbo, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, etc.
