New York, NY: American Artists' Group. VG/VG+. 1945. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good, bookplate front pastedown and prior owner's attractive blind embossed stamp lower corner front free endpaper. DJ is VG and is not price-clipped ; Mueller was born in Nordhausen and studied and taught in Leipzig, where he had Lynd Ward as a student. He emigrated to the US prior to WWII and illustrated titles such as Kidnapped, Treasure Island and Don Quixote. He also illustrated works by Knut Hamsen. Very attractive and informative work. ; 8vo; 97 p. .
