New York: Harper & Brothers, 1960. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 5 7/8 x 8 1/2. GOOD / NO DUST JACKET. xi, 362 pp; includes quick self-tests and index. Pages are slightly toned, but otherwise clean, unmarked, undamaged. Endpapers (front and back) are printed with a list of "The 25 rules of effective writing." Boards are covered with teal blue paper, blue fabric on spine. Silver titling on spine. Bottom edges of covers are shelfworn, corners and top/tail of spine are bumped but not worn through. Binding is solid. Only flaws keeping this book from being rated as "Very Good" are the shelfwear outside and toned pages inside.
