Early American edition of the popular anti-Puritan satire; with author's biography, annotations and index. Tall 12mo - over 6 ¾ in. - 7 ¾ in. 312pp., bound in full brown calf, gilt-stamped spine, covers decorated in blind.. A Fair copy in leather with the spine cracked, and extremities rubbed moderately to heavily; light foxing to the plain endpapers.
