"This Dover edition, first published in 1966, is an unabridged and corrected republication of the work first published by Methuen & Co., London, in 1907, to which have been added a new Introduction and three illustrations". Rebound in burgundy leather with gilt titles and four raised bands to spine. B/w frontispiece of Hugo Wolf in his thirty fifth year. Marbled endpapers. Red silk ribbon marker. Binding tight with light rubbing to corners and spine ends. Previous owners ex-libris bookplate to front pastedown and ink name and date to recto of frontispiece. Content clean and bright. A little fox spotting to top edge of text block. A very nice copy. Not ex-library. 279 pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
