Garden City: American Museum of Natural History/Doubleday, 1960. Cloth. Good+/Fair. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Author. xxi, 250pp, 70 tipped-in color photographs. Usual library marks, pocket remnants, stamps, etc. Half-title page has a crumpled corner, else book is clean throughout & complete; dj with tape reinforcements & tear repairs, missing a 1x2x3" triangular piece from lower rear panel. Despite its faults, it remains a beautiful book which was a landmark in high-speed photography, as well as an ornithologic treatise.
