Budapest: Erdelyi, 1910. Large-format lavish album in embossed red cloth covers with gilt and red ornamental decorations including the Hungarian crown .Front hinge cracked but binding still tight. The book itself is in very good and clean condition. This lavish album contains many black and white photographs of Hungarian landscape, architecture and costumes. A dedication foreword includes photographs of Emperor Franz Joseph I, the late Empress Elizabeth ( Sissi) and Heir Apparent , Archeduke Franz Ferdinand. 400 p. The photos show an impressive cross-section of the Hungarian lands and people with colorful costumes, castles and train-lines. Photos of Budapest, Alföld, Western Hungary (Budapest- Bruck Linie: Budapest - Marchegg Linie, Balaton), Western Carpathians, Central Carpathians, North-Eastern Carpathians, The Sea-Board (Budapest to Fiume). Neat previous owners inscription, dated 1913 on title page. Text in English. Very heavy and extra shipping charges will apply. . First Edition. Good.
