About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1976. 1st edition, full cloth, with photo illustrated dust jacket. The author's first book. Signed and inscribed: "For Herb, / With endless / respect / & best wishes, / David / New York, 1977" in blue ink on the FEP. The inscription is to Herb Leibowitz, editor and publisher of PARNASSUS. A collection of twenty-four poems, arranged in four sections, and with a page of Notes. This volume was published in the New Poetry Series by Houghton Mifflin. A nice association copy. The book and complete (not price clipped) jacket are in fine condition.
