Galloway, Jr. in title block on title page, hardbound folio almost 14 inches in height by 9.75 inches in width and almost 2.25 inches thick, 706 pages, "An illustrated review of the growth and development of the maritime industry from 1895, the date of publication of the last such comprehensive history, "Lewis & Dryden's Marine History of the Pacific Northwest." to present time with sketches and portraits of a number of well known marine men." most heavily illustrated with numerous black and white historical photographs including many portraits of important maritime leaders. Brown buckram over boards with titles and devices stamped in gilt on spine and covers. Near Fine, a trace of very light staining to bottom edge. Map end papers free of any previous owner bookplate or writing, map end papers are nautical charts depicting the Gulf of Alaska, Strait of Juan de Fuca to Kodiak Island. Double column text is fine, tight and square with sharp points, An ultra clean and mst presentable quality Superior Printing numbered Limited Edition. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall.
