With 3 plain and 51 colour plates, slightly age-toned, quarto, pp xii, 392, new endpapers, original cloth slightly rubbed, slightly more so at the joints, spine slightly marked. Seventeen of the plates have a paper production crease horizontally, and two plates have a slight mark on the facing letterpress page which has transferred to the plate - see illlustrations for examples. [Ray Palmer's copy, with his two-page manuscript "additions" list bound in at the front and a few neat manuscript pencil notes internally. Also with the signature of Charles Fredk Knight.]. First Edition. Cloth. Good.
