About This Item
Cambridge and New York:: Printed by C. J. Clay & Sons, at the University Press, for James Pott & Co., 1874. Soft cover. Good. 24mo - over 5 - 5¾" tall. 16mo. 436 pages. A small book measuring 4 3/4 inches tall by just over 3 inches wide. Bound in full flexible black leather. The binding is rather rubbed and is worn but sound. Scuffs and abrasions about the edges. All edges gilt, but the gilt is scuffed and fading. A sturdy binding. The text is toned, and a number of pages are dog-eared. The word "Hymnal" is gilt-stamped on the spine as well as on the back cover. When this was first issued, it was likely paired with a Book of Common Prayer which is not present.

About Pages Past Used and Rare Books
Pages Past is a small used & rare bookshop located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
