Brown embossed leather with gilt lettering and all edges gilt and gilt decorations on the inside edges of the boards. Marbled endpapers. See Photos. The List of Photographic Illustrations ennumerates 24 tipped in Albumen photographs of which there are only 22 found in the book. "The Cemetery at Andernach" (p.10) and "The Sturbach" (p.185) are missing. But where the photograph "Entrance to the Valley" is listed to be found on page 101 is the photograph named "Weinheim". Not mentioned is "Summit of the Furca Pass" on p. 141 but where the List of Photographic Illustrations lists "The Rhone Glacier" to be found on p.143, that photograph is missing. Where the List of Photographic Illustrations lists Heidelberg on p.137 it is found on p.127. "The Walnut Trees" is found on p.157 but not listed in the List of Photographic Illustrations. "The Stubbach" is missing from p.185. "Saltzburg" is found on p. 225 but is not listed in the List of Photographic Illustrations. Some shelf wear and rubbing along with foxing especially in the area of the photographs. Literature Travel Photography
