Sydney James Van Pelt (1908 -1976) was an Australian medical practitioner and a pioneer of modern medical hypnosis and hypnotherapy. He was the founding editor of the British Journal of Medical Hypnotism, President of the British Society of Medical Hypnotists, and a member of the (U.S.) Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. This book has Methods of Indcing Hypnotism, use of Hypnotism in treatment of Psycho-Neurosis and in the treatment of bad habits, stress deiseases; how hypnotism can be used for Medical purposes.
