Boston: Salem D. Towne, 1909. Paperback. Very Good -. [20] p.; 21 cm. Mottled brown wrappers with wrapper title in red and black; sewn with red cord. Printed throughout in red and black. Salem Darius Towne (1857-1943) served as a Congregational pastor in Maine from 1885 to 1889 when, he founded The Word and the Work, a religious paper. He published religious and children's books in Boston from about 1900 to about 1929. In Very Good- Condition: wrapper is slightly rubbed and stained; shadow and small rust stain on pp. [8-9]; otherwise, clean and tight.
