NY: Grove Press, 1964. First Thus. Cloth. Fair/good. Octavo, 281 pages. First printing of Grove Press edition. Black cloth-covered boards with silver accents. Ex-library copy, with normal library markings, stamps, and labels. Firm binding; no loose pages. Tanned edges with some marks, including a black mark on top edge. Cocked spine; boards starting to separate from spine but are still attached (see photo of back cover, which is separated the most). Dust jacket with sunned spine; encased in a clear, protective cover which is attached to boards. A readable copy. From the cover: "The full story of the man who escaped from Auschwitz in 1944 and who today is chief witness at the 1964 Auschwitz trial."
