Accompanied by the text of the Jewish-born Catholic priest who persuaded Chagall to do the stained glass at the German church, despite his strong reluctance to ever work in Germany again after the Holocaust. 82 pages with full page, colour reproductions of Chagal's work. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Two slight "puncture" marks to back cover - o/w fine.
