Description:
First American edition hardcover, with dust jacket, published by Harcourt, Brace, 1964. The story of a snobby, gluttonous, English publisher, on a business trip to the United States. 192 pages, 5-7/8" X 8-1/4". The dust jacket is intact, though it has been price clipped at the top corner of the front flap. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Jacket has just some smudge marks from use, edge wear at the head and heel of the spine. Blue-green cloth covered boards, with the author and title imprinted on the spine in silver. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or worn. Former owner's name written in blue ink on the top right corner of the first flyleaf, with a pencil squiggle above that. Binding is tight, very slight spine lean. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard. No writing on the text pages. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
