London: Stanley Paul & Co., 1938. 255 pp includes index. 13 b/w photos The incredible story of a young man who, with a knife and a piece of string spent three years alone living with gorilla. Dust jacket has edge wear, tears along top front edge, large chip that extends across book width to back top edge, a tear at bottom corner that extends width of book but most of front dust jacket is present. Much improved by new plastic cover. Butterscotch coloured cloth on boards binding has bumps to top corners, a dent to front top edge No former owner's name. Text is quite nice, bright clean, no corner folds, pages are in great condition.. Presumed First. HC and DJ. Fair-good/Poor. 9 x 5 7/8.
