Else a clean and tight copy. 386 pp. With B/W photographs. Autobiography of the Prima Ballerina of the Bolshoi Ballet. Her father was executed during the Great Terror and her mother sent to a Gulag. As well as an autobiography, the story is of the life of a Soviet artist in the troubled years from the late 1930s to the 1990s.
