He joined with Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay for their memorable first ascent of Mt. Everest. His documentary of the climb, "The Conquest of Everest," is a moving tribute to man's courage and adventurous spirit. Text is tight, clean and unmarked save for a bookplate on the front endpaper and an owner's name on the flyleaf. The DJ is intact but pretty ragged, in a mylar jacket.. 1st Edition.. Hardcover.
