BINDING/CONDITION: turquoise binding with dark blue at the spine; the top edge tint is dark blue; this bears a stamp on the rear endpaper showing it once belonged to an air museum (no other sign of ownership); a Good book with a Good dust jacket; publisher's price on the jacket flap is intact.. 8vo (8.25 inches tall) . Appendix. Description: Several black and white illustrations. Frank Kingston Smith was also the author of Week-End Pilot and Flights of Fancy. Smith was a successful Philadelphia lawyer, but feeling the stress. His doctor advised a hobby. By chance Smith came upon flying and became an enthusiastic amateur pilot. In this third book he talks about instrument flying and shows the single-engine pilot how easy it is to learn to fly a multi-engine airplane like the Piper Apache.
