About This Item
London: Cadell & Davies, et. al., 1816. Hardcover. Collectible - Good. No author, attributed to Samuel Johnson. 'A New Edition' stated on the title page. Just a Good copy in a later full leather binding, blind-stamped with extensive gilt decorations on the cover and spine. The binding is moderately rubbed, the gilt is bright, the gutters are lightly scuffed but not the raised bands. There is scattered light foxing to the text block. But the major flaw is a sprung signature at pages 179-190.
