Nice condition antique copy of "THE ILIAD OF HOMER" - translated by William Cullen Bryant. 1898; Houghton Mifflin Company; Boston and New York. There is a two-page map showing the "Wanderings of Ulysses and Aeneas" at the front. Gilt top page edges. Complete - two volumes in one.
Condition:
Clean front cover with bright gilt lettering. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded a bit. The back cover has a few scuffs and a small, light stain at the bottom edge. Sharp cover corners. Bright gilt top page edges. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean and nearly appear unread with only some light smudging on the front end papers. Overall the book is in Very Good condition.
