London: Colburn & Co, 13 Great Marlborough Street, 1852 Book. Fair. Hardcover. 54 unnumbered pages of text followed by 5 pages of index. Together with 16 colour printed plates of arms. Ownership signature to the front free end paper of the antiquary John Gough Nichols - John Gough Nichols (Morant's sale) 8 Feb 1864. In the original red cloth binding, but the spine is very damaged + torn and missing about a third. The boards are darkened. Pages are spotted and browned throughout, heavily in several places. Plate 2 is probably the most heavily spotted..
