London: Published for the Proptietors ( Cooke & Co. Printers ), 1845. Book. Illus. by Leetch, Phiz, Brown et al. Very Good. Half-Leather. First Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Very good, with rubbing to all extremities, prev. owner bkplt. signature dated 1848. Published 1843 - 1845. Binding ( still firm ), is half leather over marbled boards. Leather spine labels, and marbled fore edges. Many illustrations in black and white, with 2 in colour. Colour lithographed title pages and chapter heads. pp. 348 / 320 /358 / 352. Large, heavy books will require extra postage.
