Albany: Luther, Tucker and Son., Publisher, 1859. Wraps. Fair. Illustrated wraps, MISSING rear wrap. 228 pp., plus ads in the rear. With 144 engravings. The fifth issue of this work, containing information on growing various fruits, including apples, plums and strawberries, as well other articles on various growing and agricultural topics, including the use of various implements. With a section on country dwellings, providing a guide to the architecture of various styles of houses. This includes architectural floor plans and drawings of the houses. Another section contains information on wrought iron furniture, providing illustrations of styles available. FAIR/GOOD condition, LACKING the rear wrap. Wrappers curled and peeling away from the spine, with some chipping, tearing and loss. Minor soiling and fading to the front wrap, with minor wear at the corners. Interior clean and solid.
