This wonderful and very old Bible's exterior is of leather. There are lots of worn areas on all four corners, on the top and bottom Bible edges, slightly worn areas on the front, and more worn areas on the rear cover and there is a piece of the spine missing at the top (see pictures). The gold lettering and/or designs on the front and rear covers and on the spine, (where it isn't missing on the spine) are all in very good condition as is the gold closed Bible edging and design on the closed Bible's top, right side, and bottom page edges. The interior, however, for its very old age is extremely well preserved, with no visible extraneous markings, tight bindings, and all pages in very readable and preserved condition.
