Fine, flawless book in a near-fine, unclipped dust jacket with just trace wear at spine ends and some corners. "Mint Error" dust jacket reads, on the spine: "The Illustrated Manual Sexual of Aids". A beautiful copy of Rainbird's opus celebrating manufactured forms of assistance in the achievement of sexual satisfaction, largely focusing on devices for women - okay, dildos and vibrators - though an item or two for men (who, presumably, in Rainbird's eye, have less need for assistance) is also included. Time has marched on, technologically speaking, for this field of endeavor in the decades since this 1973 offering, but much of what it presents is of great interest and should still...bear fruit. A rather spectacular copy, looking almost completely untouched and nearly as new as the day it was purchased, the original transaction having apparently been made by someone who was clearly too occupied to have ever had to refer to the information contained therein. The "error" du t jacket may or may not be common to all copies; if not, this was then presumably a very early form of the jacket, later corrected. Sharp, handsome, nearly pristine.
