Frontispiece illustrated with lovely old b/w plate of The Ruins of Whitby Abbey. Volume 2, pages 266 to 584. Frontispiece is the Interior of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Entire book is beautifully illustrated with more wonderful historical b/w prints. Pages clean, good condition. Red foredges. Quarter bound blue cloth, r gilt title on spine. Light blue boards iwth blue titles. Head/tail of spine, boards and edges lightly worn/bumped. Boards have few light stains. VG. Revised Edition. Hard Cover.
