Facsimile reprint of 1517 edition. Text in Latin. Printed Sources of Western Art. Theodore Besterman, editor. The 204 woodcuts of coins and medallions are thought to be the work of Hughes de Cappi, who developed a process of color printing and was an acquaintance of Michelangelo. (Graesse II, 646). As new.
