New York: E.P. Dutton & Co., Inc., 1961 249 +4 pp.; HB w/DJ. Pages: clean, ivory, tight; a few very light occaisional stains, edges lightly tanned. Cover: black w/ red text to spine; light wear to spine and book corners, light bump to front top corner, a few dimples. DJ: unclipped in Brodart, black w/spot color artwork w/red, white, and turquoise text to front and spine, b/w author photo, turquoise banner w/black text to back; rubbing and chipping to ususal wear points, two substantial chips to spine head corners, small chips to heel corners, some creasing, two closed tears (1/2" and 1").

Our book rating standards are as follows; nearly all of our stock is VG or better: As New (AN)-just as states, clean, bright, tight, no defects. Fine-AN, but not as bright, minor marks or other minor defects. Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects. Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
