(Richmond-upon-Thames 1980) : # 23 of a SIGNED LIMITED EDITION of 50 copies (this numbered XXIII) bound in full green morocco by Philip Bradburn (at the Manor Bindery, Fawley Hampshire) with 5 raised bands to the spine, with black leather patch to compartment two with the title in gilt; and a brown leather patch to compartment four with the author in gilt; gilt decoration to inner dentelles both front and rear. All Edges Gilt. Marbled end-papers. Signed by the Author on the limited edition statement verso of title page and with an additional inscription in blue ink by Bamber Gascoigne (the publisher and owner of Saint Helena Press) to the same page; With a List of Subscribers; With a Half Title; With a loose laid typed order confirmation on Saint Helena Press headed paper addressed to Humphrey Jones, one of the subscribers, which is also notated and signed by Bamber Gascoigne. This Limited Edition of 50 Copies should not be confused with the separate trade edition of 1,000 copies bound in cloth. A near fine (or slightly better) copy. Housed in the original slip-case in paisley-patterned paper-covered thick cardboard The slipcase is rubbed but otherwise very good. ISBN: 0 906964 00 8. Volume 1 of the Images of London series that looks to describe reproduce and catalogue districts of Greater London. Scans/photographs available upon request.
