London to Holyhead ONLY In modern quarter blue buckram oe marbled boards, gilt title on black calf to spine (Picturesque Plans), Internally, vignette half title, [1], 2-10 pp, only, 12 plates (includes 5 strip maps, coloured, 5 views, tinted), 1 vignette - lady with shield, and 1 additional strip map, loose, coloured), LACKS the title page, the Address to the public leaf, modern endpapers, possible authors signature to ffep, the plates are watermarked J Whatman 1794, the views are not dated, the strip maps are dated 1799 & 98, the possible J Baker signature dated Dec 15th 1800 is on J Whatman paper watermarked 1794. (223*141 mm). Baker was notoriously haphazard, and it is very rare to find complete titles or even parts. half speckled 'calf cloth' over red marbled boards, some blind tooling. Spine, raised bands, gilt titles to red & black gilt decorated morocco labels. Internally, [3], (iv) only, followed by 18 pls (strip maps dated 1800, 1801 & 2, depicting towns & country seats - of 21? see Smith and Webb)). [1], 2-10, [1], 12-27, [1]. WITH; Multum in Parvo, 1802, [3], 28-66 pp, new endpapers, 1 small repaired marginal tear (p21), tissue guards to most strips, edges not trimmed. (226*140 mm). Very Uncommon, and most often never complete!

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS You may request to cancel a book order or return a book within 14 days of receipt of the book. A book may be returned for one of the following reasons: Item damaged: The item was damaged during shipping. Item not as described: The condition of the book does not match the description on Madoc Books. Incorrect item delivered: The title, cover or edition of the book is different than the title on the order. Item not received: The estimated delivery date has passed and the book has still not arrived. To cancel a book order or return a book simply contact Madoc with your order confirmation details and to obtain the return address.

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
