Half calf leather binding with marbled boards. Gilt decorated spine with leather title label. Wear and heavy rubbing to boards. Slight cracking to joints but securely bound. Rubbing to spine. Complete with the engraved frontis. Foxing to frontis and title page, scattered foxing to text. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (Harold Newgass). Very scarce.
