About This Item

New York: Leon Amiel This perennial favorite on Impressionism has been consistently in print since the 1960s, although this particular undated copy is probably of later vintage since it includes the ISBN code. The book is in Near Fine condition with a Near Fine dust jacket. (Click on photo.) The book would have been in Fine condition except that the bottom corners of the last two pages are torn off, which may have been a manufacturer's defect. The actual illustrations on these last two pages is not affected. The author's text is includes in the first 26 pages, followed by a list of the color plates, followed by the plates themselves. There are 91 color illustrations in all, depicting both work by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters. The book's dust jacket has two tiny edge tears. The book measures 6 14 by 7 inches. . Hard Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
