London: John Lane: The Bodley Head. Good. 1906. First Edition. Hardcover. 227 p. 24 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Front inner hinge is cracked but still holding well. Dampstain along the spine of upper board. Corners bumped and fore-edges have a ding mark. Spine faded and has a tiny sticker shadow mark. General soil and rubbing overall. Previous owner's name and date on front endpaper. Light foxing to endpapers and preliminaries. Otherwise, the inside pages are generally clean and unmarked. Ten essays by the author on elements of Japanese architecture and design. Illustrated with over fifty sepia-toned plates. .
