French catalogue of shoes. Octavo (8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches; 223 x 138 mm). [1]-38, [2] pp. Illustrated in color with numerous shoes for sale for men, women and children. Additionally illustrated with eight full-page, full-color caricature illustrations by Alphonse Hector Colomb, also know as B. Moloch of famous French actors and entertainers of the time trying on shoes.

Publisher's illustrated wrappers, printed in black, tan and orange. Staple bound. Some vert light dust-soiling to wrappers. About fine.

B. Moloch, pseudonym of Alphonse Hector Colomb, "was a French illustrator and caricaturist. Starting in 1870, he contributed to L'Assiette au Beurre, Le Rire, La Chronique Amusante and other humorous weeklies from Paris. He has illustrated the stories of colonel Ramollot, and was the main illustrator of Le Chambard Socialiste, together with Steinlen. He also drew for the Images d'Épinal prints of publisher Pellerin."
