New York: Alfred A. Knopf. Good. 1930. First Edition, Second Printing. Hardcover. Brown cloth boards with dark brown lettering; top edge dyed maroon, fore edge deckled. Boards have light soiling and sunning, and minor dampstaining affecting spine and front board; text block has minor dampstaining to top edge and near spine. Signed and inscribed by Bynner to Mrs. Sarah Shaw on front endpaper. An envelope is tipped onto front pastedown and holds a b&w photograph from 1938 (depicting Sarah Shaw); an original poem by Bynner to Sarah Shaw titled "Charioteer", typed and signed; and an ALS containing a brief note from Bynner to Shaw, and Shaw's response to him. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 77 pp; Signed by Author .
