Limited First Edition of this volume. The number of this copy is not stated, although evidence of it being a limited edition is noted on Colophon page (see photo). Slipcase is in Good condition
Beautifully bound copy in the colors of Indiana University in a red and white floral pattern on cover, and gilt lettering on spine.
An oversized volume in original slipcase, pages are on premium archival paper with deckled edges.
121 pages with sepia drawings throughout by Bruce Rogers. 7 leaves of plates in back of book done in pen and ink by Franklin Booth. Both Rogers and Booth are Indianan artists. A beautifully bound book of pioneer life in Indiana. Essay by Logan Esarey.
Hardcover has no defects, as new. Book includes original black slipcase. An extraordinary copy for the Indianan collector.
