Ink name darkened in square at top of frontispiece page, tear between first front end paper and half-title page down to spine webbing. Essays included by Nin, Sakharov, Yevtushenko, Sozhenitsyn, Marcuse, Djilas, Westmoreland, Arendt, Eiseley, Skinner. 124 pages, with many unique press art items. Very large book, shiny black cloth with white embossed lettering very fine on front and spine. DJ glossy white lightly browned overall with illustration of man with ears, lips and eyes covered at top front right. DJ has tiny nicks at most edges, felt tip pen mark at spine bottom. Near Very Good DJ/Very Good+ book.
