Ex-library book, card pocket to rear pastedown, faint scuff to folds of spine head & foot, moderately bumped corners, few light marks to boards, little tape residue to rear board, some black ink writing to few front free endpapers, small tear to half-title page, small institutional library bookplate to front pastedown, else overall a very good(-). Large quarto custom bound in institutional brown polished buckram; original printed wraps bound in 319 p, b&w illus (some color); numerous folded maps & folded plans; 29 cm. Scarce. Signed by author Salazar on front wrapper, beginning with "Homenaje del autor ..." Also includes a holographic inscription by G. Butler Shewell, presenting the book to Columbia University Library; his name also typed at foot of Columbiu University Library bookplate to front pastdown. Front wrapper states "Tomo I" New wraps on original book (rebound). In Spanish. Mines and mineral resources -- Mexico -- Hidalgo (State).
