New York: Brentano's. Hand-colored photo-types by D. Jacomet's Artistic Press. Text printed by G. Lang Press., 1927. First Limited Edition. Hardcover. Cloth spine. Paper pastedown on boards.. Very Good. No. 356 of 600 copies (American edition). Folio, 33 by 26 cm. 127, [2] pp. 30 plates, mostly color plates, with lettered tissue guards. Other text illustrations, some of which are in color -- the color text illustrations are tipped in or mounted, as are a few plates. The binding has a moderate amount of soiling, wiht a light dampstain on the front and rear lower part of the cover -- this dampstain runs almost the entire length of the edge, and is about 3 cm to 6 cm in width, depending on where. A few other soil marks on the cover. Within, a light thin dampstain on a few early leaves, but otherwise clean, bright, etc. One blank leaf, upon which a plate is mounted, has a closed tear.
