New York: Takarajima Books. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1995. First Edition. Hardcover. American photographer Ralph Gibson has assembled 115 full page b&w photographs taken between 1988 and 1994 depicting nude women that reveal the "fascination of seeing ourselves reflected in the psychological mirror of the human body." Introduction by Alexandra Anderson-Spivy & Afterword by Mary Gaitskill. Original black cloth publisher's covers with silver spine lettering. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket has a bit of light shelf wear to the rear (visible under certain lighting conditions) and a trifle bit of wear to bottom at the spine, else it has no chips or tears. No indication of the edition; assumed first edition. ; B&W Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 119 pages .
