New York, NY: ACE. Very Good Minus. 1973. First Printing of This Edition. Soft Cover. 4 1/4" x 7" PAPERBACK Ace book #37070. Original title Cheap Thrills 16 pages of B&W photos. Spanning the years between the dime novels of the 19th century and today's paperbacks, pulp magazines provided millions with their first and only taste of "literature." The heroes of those gripping tales of fiction along with their evil antagonists were depicted on cheap paper, and housed in lurid covers. Wear at edges, reading creases, some soiling, rubbed with some white showing, light interior browning. .
