London, Henry Frowde, Oxford University Press, 1910. Hardback, 7.5 x 5 inches. Half bound with white vellum leather spine and green cloth to boards. Gilt decoration to spine with pink leaf details and gilt lettering to leather title label. Top page edges gilt. Plain endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor handling marks to cover with some slight darkening to spine, else cover clean and smart. Endpapers with some minor darkening, neat inscription to front “To Walter Coles, with love from his friend F.P. Archbold 1913.” One or two minor spots and handling marks to pages. Else a very good clean and tight copy. Lv + 527pp. Illustrated with a B&W frontis portrait and B&W illustrations within text.
