NY: Harper and Brothers, [c.1833]. . 8vo. Quarter-calf & plain cloth, edges marbled. Short tears at spine ends, old stain to upper margin, a very good copy in general. The spine is lettered: INTELLECTUAL / POWERS. Issued as Volume XXXVII in Harper's FAMILY LIBRARY, which series is mentioned in the Advertisement leaf at the front, dated 1833. First published in Edinburgh in 1830, this is one of myriad editions of this popular book. This copy contains a Canadian bookseller's ticket affixed to the front end paper: C.R. VINCENT / Book-Seller / Lennoxville, C.E.
