Helena, Montana, 1895. unbound. Inscribed and signed Cabinet Card by Taylor, Helena, Montana, no date, circa 1895, which depicts the Senator dressed in a suit and sporting a full beard. Signed on the front with a two-line inscription and full signature: "James H. Mills." Small chip at the bottom left-hand corner; very good(-) condition.<br/><br/> Senator from Montana who saw service in the Civil War with the Eleventh Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers; mustered out with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. He served as a member of the first Montana Constitutional Convention of 1889.<br/><br/>
