There is nothing to indicate that this isn't a first issue of the second edition. A lovely copy in a school presentation tree calf binding with gilt designs and titles. Written presentation inscription to J.M.Child. There is some rubbing to the spine.Attractive bookplate of previous owner (Ex Libris. J.M.Child) Marbled end papers and edges.Apart from some foxing spots to preliminaries this copy is remarkably clean. Binding firm and tight.
